Ford Racing drivers and teams captivated the action motorsports 2012 season with championships, X Games medals, victories, podium appearances and the occasional three-wheel finish. As a thank-you to them, here is a recap video highlighting the impact they had on our year.

Shortly after winning the 45th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, Byron, Michigan’s Erik Jones sat down with Speed51.com and SPEED TV’s Bob Dillner to discuss winning the crown jewel of short track asphalt racing. Jones held off NASCAR star Kyle Busch for the victory.

With a late-race pass of Rich Clouser, Brandon Johnson won the November 16th, 2012 Pro Late Model 100 at New Smyrna Speedway (FL) to kick off the 47th Annual Florida Governor’s Cup 200 Weekend.

Tanner Foust takes second consecutive event win and 2012 Global Rallycross Championship at the final round at SEMA in Las Vegas. Brian Deegan took second at the event as well as in the championship, just 10 points behind Foust. Ken Block had a spectacular run, qualifying first and defeated the field in every lap he entered. Unfortunately, Block had an electrical issue which caused a fire in his Fiesta HFHV that then forced him out of the competition.

Although he might not have started where here wanted in the race, Corey LaJoie finished right where he hoped in the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 140 Saturday at Greenville Pickens Speedway.

Travis is with Rob Dyrdek at X Games to attempt the Hot Wheels double loop. Then it’s off to the racetrack where Travis and Red Bull team rider Bryce Menzies try to qualify for the RallyCross event, a competition filled with crashes, loopholes, and all around chaos.
